Internal customs transit presumes transporting imported goods through the Russian Federation customs territory exempt from any duties, taxes, prohibitions and restrictions imposed by the RF legislation in its part regulating foreign trade activities.
Internal customs transit is arranged as an integral part of forwarding services for the goods arriving at the port of St.-Petersburg by sea and which are further transported to inland customs at the final point of their destination to be cleared there.
Bill of Landing (original);
Invoice (original) containing the following data:
number and date of the Invoice;
name of the cargo;
number of units, net and gross weight;
Packing list (original), containing the information about the weight and number of packages if not stipulated in the Invoice, and the container number for containerized goods.
Statistics Department Certificate proving the Russian National Classifier of Businesses and Organizations code (copy).
Tax Department Certificate proving the Taxpayer Identification Number (copy).
Letter of attorney for forwarding and customs clearance (original).
Freight forwarding agreement (copy);
The customs may require additional documents to be provided for certain types of goods – State Registration Certificate, Certificate of Origin, Sanitary-Epidemiological Certificate, Veterinary Certificate, etc.
